I am sorry for not sending an email last week but not really sorry. It is just really hard to find time. This week I have time to email and so I knew I needed to send out an email. But hello everyone!! It has been a little bit. So the reason that I wasn't able to get a email out last week is because we went golfing! And I know your thinking, "that took up your whole day?!" Well when you decide to play two games it does. It was a blast. And so most of last weeks photos were from golfing! I am going to try my best and cover the last two weeks.
Last week was a really sad but happy week! Really sad because missionaries who I love so much went home. I think I sent photos last week of him. He was in the green hat. He went home and I was really sad about it because I love him a lot! But it ended up a happy week because two Saturdays ago there was a big multi-stake activity and so I saw Elder Bostock!! Easily one of the happiest days on the mission. I miss him a lot! But it was super good to see him. We talked most of the time and it was just good to catch up. Besides that, I can't really remember what happened.
This last week... golfing! So we played where everyone hits the ball and then whoever hits it furthest is where everyone hits from. And so in our first game we did really well. Couple pars and one birdie I think. Which isn't bad considering I can't remember the last time I actually tried golfing. Then with the second game, we got par on the first hole and then a bogey on every single hole after that. Not bad but really bad. It all adds up. But golfing was super fun! Also ended up with A LOT of steps that day.
On Wednesday was transfers. We got to the chapel at 1:30. Waited till 2:30, then 3:30, and finally at 4:30 the missionaries from up north showed up!! only 3 hours late. I guess the lead car missed an exit and so it delayed them. And they were late leaving anyways. But it was so fun to be able to catch up with old missionaries and just talk. I love the missionaries that I get to serve with. But in one of my photos, I saw Elder Black!! He was my MTC companion and so it was super good to see him!!
I really can't think of what else happened this week. It just is a lot of teaching and working hard. Just a quick spiritual thought. It comes from the talk Abound With Blessings from the last General Conference. Everything this week has pointed back to this talk. In this talk, he basically states that Heavenly Father is waiting to bless us. But we have to do our part as well. I was reading in the bible this week and read about the lady who reached out and touched Jesus and he told her because of your faith you are whole. Man she just had faith to reach out and touch him. And so we need to have that faith. Faith, that when we are doing the right things, the things that we have been asked to do, we can receive those blessings! And so do what you know you need to to receive the blessings Heavenly Father has for you! Even if for now it is just faith. Faith has power to move mountains.
