Keep on Grinding

Good afternoon everyone!! Not a lot happened this week so it'll be a shorter email. But that's okay! Work is going good in Fabens. We just keep grinding and working hard and we can see the results. It's what keeps us going is the results! But the awesome thing is that even if you can't see results right now we can all be reassured that a seed has been planted. This last weekend we went to Sierra Blanca with our zone leaders who are some of my favorite elders and also the ones we had a sleepover with:) but they are starting a branch down there and so we go down with them to help them because they have so much work done there they can't do it all on their own. But we also have some people we teach down there and actually some members. So we make the trip worth going too. We love going down there. A lot of the pictures this week are from there.

Spiritual thought!! Alma 7:11-12

11 And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.
12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.

I love the last sentence how he suffered pains, afflictions, and temptations of every kind so "that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities." Wow!! He suffered it all so he could help us each individually and how we need it. So when we access the power of the atonement he knows how to help us perfectly. Even if we don't feel it is how we should be helped. Cause he has a plan for each of us. Hes already done the atonement and so there isn't anything we can do that isn't covered by it. It's truly amazing.
